Best known as Mark Murphy's accompanist and a much sought after session musician, arranger and educator, Pete Churchill finally found some time to record this album which features him as vocalist as well as on piano.
The material chosen reflects Pete's opinion that `good songs don't need to be diluted, revamped or arranged to death - they will sing themselves if you let them'. So we have fantastic versions of songs ranging from `Lets Get Lost' to `Spring Will be a Little Late this Year', alongside `Nice `n' Easy' and a couple of great originals

On this album Pete's regular trio is joined by the hugely respected saxophonist Bobby Wellins - whose own joy in making the album is evident from the very first notes he plays.

Personnel: Pete Churchill - piano, vocal, Bobby Wellins - tenor saxophone, Steve Watts - bass, Dave Wickins - drums
