Biography of Aphid
New Zealand Guitarist and composer Nick Broadhurst graduated with his Bachelor in Jazz in 2003.
During this time he performed in various groups as composer/leader and as a sideman. After moving to Switzerland in 2004 he formed Basel group Aphid. He has performed concerts with this band and others throughout Switzerland and in Germany. His debut album with Aphid was released by Altrisuoni in 2009. He is the head of the music department at Swiss International School in Klein Basel where he teaches music and Guitar lessons.
