KNOM's music is a blend of energetic eruptions with lyrical moments and a high degree of musical interaction surprising the audience and producing snapshots full of emotions.
Andreas Meili (piano) composed all the pieces. His original interpretations and unconventional arrangements breathe new life into contemporary jazz.
The musicians impart their "joie de vivre" and their musical freedom directly to the audience. KNOM has been formed in 2004.
Andreas Meili (p/compositions), Marc Stucki (ts), André Pousaz(b) and Claudio Strüby(dr) play refreshingly young jazz of a high musical level – always with a wink at the public and a good splash of humor.
