The ensemble is an extension of my
solo playing. It explores my interest in
improvisation, modern harmony, odd
metre and the poetry of WB Yeats. In
the absence of a bass, the guitar has the
freedom to explore the harmonic spectrum.
Compositions are written and arranged
to encourage individual expression and
collective improvisation where traditions
of jazz, classical, rock and blues meet
traditional cultures |
