The Sloane Square Syncopators is a tribute to Bix Beiderbecke and friends and and features the music of the roaring twenties with compositions from Gerschwin, Noel Coward and Rogers and Hart amongst others. The album has very amusing foreward by the late, great Spike Milligan.
"Too Good Too Miss" is the creation of the Sloane Square Syncopators with Mike 'Hot Lips'D'prose on Cornet, Steven 'Wait' Trainor on sax and clarinet, Mark 'Shirley' Bassey on trombone, Graham 'His Eminence' Read on bass sax and tuba, Graham 'Strummin' Roberts on guitar and banjo, Paul 'Sugar Ray' Moylan on piano, Tommy 'Two Dinners' pearson on drums etc., Daniel'Rita' Gillingwater on vocals, Guest Vocals Anna '3 Litre' Bentley and the band's manager Richard 'Pa' Tator. |
