Reviews |
02/06/2006 B.S. | Album dedicated to the Sun and Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) Yugoslavian born, Serbian/American scientist, inventor and electrical engineer who among over 700 patents ( radio, wireless, fluorescent light, rotary engine, A/C motors, radio imaging - radar…) granted us with A/C electric power, the mother and father of all our technologies and modern life, we have been enjoying since 1895. Sun inspired Tesla’s greatest discoveries. Please, every time you switch your light on, your TV, your radio, your CD player, your kettle…your computer… stop for a second and remember this "forgotten" and suppressed true genius, true gentleman who made all that possible for you. Thank you! Branco.
| 01/11/1999 Adrian Ingram, JUST JAZZ GUITAR, USA | “ Well written and skillfully arranged. A superb vehicle for Branco’s personal musical vision.” Adrian Ingram, Just Jazz Guitar, USA (Nov. 1999)
| 01/03/1999 Jack Massarik, EVENING STANDARD, UK | “ Peaceful melodic originals in which each note is there for a reason. He also sounds like nobody but himself, a rarity in this copycat age.” Jack Massarik, Evening Standard, UK (March 1999.)
| 01/02/1999 Sarah Ward, JAZZ FM/SMOOTH FM, UK | “ Discovering Branco has been one of my great pleasures. His playing and composing are unique. The melodies unfold in a subtle and magical way. A musical journey to warm the soul. ” Sarah Ward, Jazz FM/Smooth FM, UK (Feb. 1999.)
| 01/01/1998 Stephen Graham, Jazzwise | "A fine guitar album, he is not copying anyone. A promising debut." |
