The Best of Paz features all of the Paz groups - Paz, Paz One and Paz Three. Of the original group keyboard player Geoff Castle, percussionist Simon Morton, bassist Ron Matthewson and leader percussionist and vibe player Dick Crouch are in all three bands. Guitarist Phil Lee and drummer Dave Sheen appear in Paz and Paz One, flute and soprano sax player Brian Smith in Paz, flute and piccolo player Ray Warleigh in Paz One and Paz Three, with Ed Speight starring on electric guitar in Paz Three along with percussionist Frank Gibson and timbale player Martin Drew. |

Paz had more affiliations with the music of Latin America. Sometimes the percussion threatens to engulf events, but overall the feel across the three versions of Paz presented here is of a compusively rhythmic music never better that when Sheen, Morton and Crouch are all hammering away together..." |
