Biography of Philip Clouts
Philip Clouts is known for his work with seven-piece worldbeat jazz band Zubop, with whom he has recorded four widely acclaimed albums, toured internationally and played at major festivals such as WOMAD and Glastonbury. Recent concerts have included Ronnie Scotts, London and Symphony Hall, Birmingham. The Zubop vibe includes many world influences within a jazz context making an upbeat, accessible sound.
Philip Clouts has written a new set of original material for the trio, influenced by Latin and African jazz and music from New Orleans, creating music with a groove.
