Reviews

01/05/2004 Derek Ansell, Jazz Journal International

"Spin this one a few times, you could find you have Georgia on your mind."

01/03/2004 Chris Parker, JARS

"whatever she sings, Mancio...demonstrates two increasingly rare qualities: taste and restraint."

01/02/2004 Chris Ingham, Mojo

"There's a delightful, almost diffident modesty to this debut by singer Mancio...[whose] phrasing has assurance and allure."

01/01/2003 Humphrey Lyttelton, Best of Jazz, Radio 2

“the seductive voice of British singer Georgia Mancio on her debut album – and it’s a good one too”

01/01/2003 Peter Quinn, Jazzwise

“[her] undeniable strengths lie in her lightness of touch, restraint and absolute clarity….Mancio seems entirely at ease here, grabbing the lyric by the scruff of the neck”
