Geoff Eales is one of the UK's most accomplished and talented jazz pianists. His debut CD for Black Box, 'Mountains of Fire', was a massive success and earned him applause from critics and public alike. This is his second CD for the label and includes some of his own highly imaginative compositions, as well as some very established - but unhackneyed - jazz standards. There is something for everyone on this new album; great slow tunes for late at night and some really funky numbers, for which he is joined by the legendary guitarist Jim Mullen.
