Caratinga is the debut CD from this great line-up of Brazilian and British musicians features Brazilian choro, bossa nova and sambas by Brazil’s greatest composers, from traditional masters Pixinguinha and Jacob do Bandolim to contemporary jazz-influenced greats including Guinga and Luciana Rabello. Guest vocalist Lorena Ribeiro joins the group in three beautiful interpretations of songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
