Julia Farino’s debut album, ‘Don’t Talk To Me Of Love’, is a flirtatious, vocal interpretation of definitive jazz standards along with three original numbers. The album introduces a selection of first class arrangements by David Moses and David Butterworth and features many hugely respected musicians from the jazz world including; Alan Barnes on baritone sax/flute, Julian Marc Stringle on clarinet/sax and Robin Jones on percussion.

Julia wanted to put together an album that reflects how she feels being a woman in the modern world - trying to retain her independence alongside being a hopeless romantic! To emphasise this theme, David Moses the bass player in the band, was keen to write new material especially for Julia. The original compositions, ‘Don’t Talk To Me Of Love’, ‘On My Own Again’ and ‘In Love With Being In Love’ perfectly portray the essence of the album in amongst compelling standards such as ‘Witchcraft’, ‘Nature Boy’ and the bonus track, ‘Do It Again’.
