One of the world's foremost experts on Bill Evans, Jack Reilly only started coming to the UK in his mid-70's. This double-CD is an impeccably balanced (and complete) recording of a concert given in March 2007 at the Dean Clough complex in Halifax. Reilly (to quote Mike Butler in Metro) 'proposes a bold synthesis of jazz and formal music... his harmonies spring from Debussy by way of Bill Evans'.
