Trianglehead, comprising Martin Kershaw (saxes), Paul Harrison (keyboards & electronics) and Stu Ritchie (drums & percussion), formed in Edinburgh in 2003 and quickly created a cult following for their unique blend of sonic experimentation, free improvisation and irrepressible creative energy. Now, following the success of their debut album, Maths, and accompanying UK tour, the band are proud to announce the release of their second album, Exit Strategy. Once again, the music is fresh, original and exciting; a heady brew of wildly different flavours that will thrill audiences and critics, as appealing to jazz buffs as it is to a generation who are clued-up on techno and electronica. The recording also features the playing of brilliant young guitarist Graeme Stephen, who guests on three tracks. |
