A stunning live solo recording to complete John Law's exploration of plainchant. Covers the entire spectrum from stride and swing piano to openly improvised classical textures. The main work, Thanatos, is based on the plainchant music for the requiem mass. The encore, The Coming, is based on the Advent carol Oh Come Emmanuel.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CD-R AND NOT FROM A GLASS MASTER!. I have never had any issues with the quality of this CD or any problems with it not playing. It's just like a normal CD. |
