With Make Believe, our third album for Diving Duck Recordings, we've expanded the group to a quartet with the fantastic Stan Sulzmann on tenor sax. As a writer, arranger and leader of groups large and small, Stan's passionate sound and lyrical depth have been an important part of the UK jazz scene for decades. Mike, Matt and I are honoured to have him with us, and his contribution helps make this our strongest CD to date.
