A short yet poignant and varied album that takes its title from the haunting 'My Funny Valentine', made famous by Trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker, and recorded for this album as an intimate guitar/voice duet (with Curtis Shaw). As one of a stunning trio (with bassist Jenni Molloy and pianist Wendy Kirkland) Nabarro pays homage to further Chet Baker repertoire as well as a solo piano/voice glimpse into her own composition, 'Picture', an echo of the‘unphotographable’ world of sound.
