Biography of Aisha HR

Aisha HR has studied for years with some of the greatest Italian piano players (Paolo Birro for 5 years, Stefano Battaglia, Danilo Rea, Franco D'andrea); then , after moving to New York, she has had the possibility to work with Jim Rotondi, Joe Farnsworth, Joe Strasser, John Webber and others. She has performed with Piero Odorici, Robert Bonisolo, Marco Tamburini, Fabrizio Bosso, Marc Abrams, Bruno Marini..
When in Italy, she leads her Italian trio, and she is official piano player of "Far Fly Community", the tribute Big Band to Italian piano player Luca Flores, leaded by A. Di Puccio and S. Bonafede.
She has performed in Terni Jazz Festival, Modena (opening the Geri Allen concert), Roma Fandango Jazz Festival, Siena Jazz Festival, Milan (winning a composition competition in 2002) and many others…
Joe Strasser's credits include Norah Jones, Larry Goldings (Maceo Parker), Jose Feliciano, Eddie Henderson (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock) and guitarist Peter Bernstein, Randy Brecker, He works with David Hazeltine, Eric Alexander, George Coleman, Jim Rotondi and many others great musicians of the New York scene.
Paul Gill, is an incredibly experienced bass player, and has performed with Diana Krall, Stanley Turrentine, George Coleman, John Hendricks, Cedar Walton.
