Biography of Lizzie Scott

Lizzie Scott was born in Australia & was introduced to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday & Louis Armstrong while watching her Father restore vintage cars in his back-yard garage.

She’s spent her entire life performing; beginning dancing at age 3 & her singing debut in a cathedral at age 11 where the Priest declared, "She has a gift from God!" She studied opera at Adelaide Conservatorium of Music & performing arts at The Drama Centre at Flinders University gaining a first class B.A. with Honours.

In a move to Sydney, Lizzie was offered a role in Cameron Mackintosh’s stage production of Elvis the Musical & subsequently sung with Sydney’s top jazz & swing bands including a 3 year residency at the famous Marble Bar in the Hilton Hotel.
