Various projects ranging from Jazz to Pop, Classical, Electronics and experimental Impro have influenced Chasper Wanner and turned him into the creative all-round musician that he is. His compositions on the new CD show his love for sound colouring and lyrical chamber-music, in constant change with catchy melodies, improvisation and sounds, and he succeeded in making an exciting contribution to modern jazz music.
The decisive factor to record the new material was the exceptional drummer Danny Gottlieb (USA) who was very interested in Chasper Wanner’s recent compositions. They decided to record the new CD, which is now available, together with the bass player Wolfgang Zwiauer (CH) and the sax player Alex Hendriksen (CH) in Basel in June 2004.
