TRILOG presents an original universe where an infinity of colours converge. The music of TRILOG has many influences, many of which can be found in the period going from the Renaissance to the 20th century. TRILOG collects these musical influences, it filters them and forges a new musical expression. The music of TRILOG hence breaks the codes, frees the music from the negative habits, perforates the arteriosclerotic traditional schemes of jazz improvisation.
TRILOG is formed by three very prominent musicans of the modern French jazz scene.
Besides the group leader, drummer and composer, Olivier Le Goas, we find the sax player Vincent Mascart, who's been around since the early '90s, is known for his performances with the bassist Henri Téxier's "Sonjal" septet, with the guitarist Nguyen Lê's "Maghreb and Friends", with the pianist Bojan Zulfikarpasic's "Koreni", and with the guitarist Claude Barthélémy's "Orchestre Nationale de Jazz" (2002-2005). He currently also plays with pianist Jean-Christophe Cholet's "Diagonal" tentet and with drummer Karim Ziad's "Ifrikya". His own project goes by the name of "Circum".
The guitarist Manu Codija has performed with the trumpet player Erik Truffiz, with Gueogui Kornazov, Spices Bones, and Monio Mania. He currently is a member of Daniel Humair's quintet, as well as Henri Téxier's "Strada".
