In March she supported Thea Gilmore, also at The Borderline, and during 2001 played several major theatres and concert halls across the UK supporting both Roger McGuin, and Celtus, and also Tom McRae as part of the Roadworks tour. Over the last few years she has played London venues including Ronnie Scott's and The South Bank Centre, as well as many arts centres and theatres round the country. Three of Rebecca's songs are on the soundtrack of a short film 'The Bitterest Pill', starring Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox. Other songs are being covered live by Claire Martin. Recent media appearances include 'Woman's Hour' on BBC Radio 4, the Janice Long Show on BBC Radio 2, the Nicky Campbell Show on Radio 5 Live, sessions for BBC 6Music and BBC London, 'Artsworld' for Illumina TV, Gyles Brandreth and Wendy Lloyd (both LBC), two sessions for BBC Radio Scotland, and BBC Radio 4's 'Loose Ends'. Rebecca is the daughter of visual artists, her father a painter and sculptor and her mother a jewellery maker, both internationally exhibited. She was born in West London, and from the age of 9 grew up in rural West Somerset. She lives in London.
