13 Modern-Jazz original tunes re-creating the golden age of the Blue Note quintets of the late 50's. Led by pianist, composer and arranger James Hayes, the band plays many types of Jazz from Cool to bebop, latin to ballads, Boogalloo to gospel. Melodic and Progressive at the same time.
