The music crosses a range of different styles from the repertoire, jazz/jazz improvisation/classical, with up-tempo rhythms and solo instrumentation at the same time as being atmospheric. . .

To date I have self-produced 3 albums, which have been catalogued/listed with media production companies which include: Channel 4 television, BBC radio, BBC television, (both local and national), TwoFour Productions, also with 'Devon County Council Library Services' for loan to the general public.

The 'solo' project recorded 2020: A Digital Voyage Into The Unknown, uses one acoustic instrument (soprano saxophone), incorporating classical melodies with jazz improvisation linked with electronics, produced as incidental soundtrack music, already listed within media production . .

The album '16.50 North by 3.0 West' was kindly published by 'Eddie Prevost' at Matchless Publishing and Recordings. Eddie a professional percussionist who for decades has worked on the 'free jazz improvisation scene' with Evan Parker and others.

The 3rd album produced in 2006, 'Herbert, Herbert's Scientific Laboratory' covers a varied range of music, with Hugh Coleridge (Guitars) & Neal Reynolds (Keyboards) on some of the 14 track album.

The 2 albums currently available where produced during 2001/2002, they have only just been released for resale in November 2007.

Influenzes: Are wide and varied, covering range of different styles from the music repertoire, ie: classical, jazz/jazz fusion, R&B, and popular music, experimenting in crossing mainly "classical sounding melodies with jazz improvisation," but enjoy across section of music including other artists in the "UK and around the World," ie: John Surman, Wayne Shorter/Joe Zawinul, (Weather Report), John Harle, Jay Beckenstein/Jeremy Wall/Tom Schuman, (Spyro Gyra), Jan Garbarek, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane, EST, Satoko Fujii, Barbara Thompson/Jon Hiseman, Brian Eno, Robert Wyatt, (Soft Machine), Bill Bruford (Earthworks), Loose Tubes, and numerous others . . .

In other area's over the past few years I've had ties with 'Assoc of British Jazz Musicians,' which has an 'executive committee' actively involved in promoting and lobbying for funding for different projects, based at Jazz Services in London (UK).

Between 1991-2000 served as a general committee member on a branch of the 'Musicians Union,' assisting the branch secretary in an 'administrative' capacity, helping organise different events promoted by the Union, (now carried out regionally).

Played both as a soloist and as part of a duo 'JAVA' during the 1990's in different venues in the UK.

Prior to this played with the 'Velvet Touch' playing 'soul and popular' music, who also where a support band to such names as the Bee Gee's, The Who, Wishbone Ash, The Tremeloes, The Move, The Hollies, Manfred Mann, The Yardbirds, to name but a few.
