Previously out of print, Karen's first CD "Once in a Lifetime" is now available again. The album is released on Smash Digital an available now on JAZZCDS.
Initially released in 2002 to rave reviews, the album propelled Karen into the realms of leading Jazz singers in Britain. The album has a diverse selection of standards and some fine original tunes written by Lane. Bringing together a fine stable of players including Phil Peskett, Robin Aspland, Dave Colton Rod Youngs, Sam Burgess and Martin Shaw guesting, this is an album not to be missed. As with all her albums Once in a Lifetime was thoughtfully self- produced.
