NEW ALBUM for March 2011

The Kit Downes Trio (+ guests James Allsopp - Tenor Saxophone/Bass Clarinet, Adrien Dennefeld - Cello) will be releasing their second album - 'Quiet Tiger' for Basho Records in March 2011. They will be touring with the full sextet (as on the album) from March through through till May (dates are up on the site).

new things

The trio have a lot of new dates up for the rest of the year all round the UK and Europe (see gigs page) as well as some gigs with special guests - Ben Van Gelder and Ian Ballamy.

We will be recording a second album this summer of all new original music and are also playing at Cheltenham Jazz Festival on May 1st this year - you can book here(http://cheltenhamfestivals.com/jazz-2010/kit-downes-trio)..

We also have a big gig coming up later in the year - Kings Place. on September 11th (as part of the F-IRE Festival)..
