Colour Beginnings
2010-03-08 10:47:51 | A preview performance of the new work prior to recording "Colour Beginnings", music written about and inspired by the watercolour sketches of the great English painter JMW Turner, compositions from spontaneous improvisations which Tim recorded in front of the works while he was artist in residence at Tate Britain in 2009, is to be performed at WayOutWest @ The Orange Tree on wed 17th march (Kew Rd Richmond-2 minutes walk from Richmond Station).
The forthcoming recording will add to some live tracks already recorded at the premiere performance at Tate Britain in November 2009, and will be released later this year to coincide with UK touring dates. |
