Colour Beginnings Album release
2010-09-21 13:10:34 | "Colour Beginnings", due for release this week, coinciding with tour dates(see see gigs).The album is a mix of live tracks recorded at Tate Britain at the premiere performance on Nov 6th 2009, and studio tracks recorded in July this year.
Tim composed the music from transcribed improvisations recorded in front of, and inspired by Turner's colour sketches at Tate Britain, where he was artist in residence in 2009.
The album features Liam Noble on piano, Milo Fell on drums and percussion, Pat Bettison on bass guitar and Oli hayhurst on double bass.The album will be available from JAZZCDs.
