18th January gig cancelled

Regrettably, the launch of "Momentarily" by Fairclough & Youell at The Boardwalk, Sheffield on Tues 18th January 2011 has been cancelled due to the continued closure of the venue.

Revised Launch date

The Fairclough & Youell "Momentarirly" album will be launched on Tues 18th January 2011 at The Boardwalk, Snig Hill, Sheffield S3 8NA. Doors open 7:30. Tickets available at the door priced £8.

Great review of Momentarily by Fairclough & Youell

Momentarily is a quiet, intricate masterpiece on the border between Jazz and Rock. Unusual, intense, but approachable and with interesting song-melodies. Complex, challenging, but nevertheless enjoyable.

Momentarily

The new album from Peter Fairclough and Hayley Youell is now available. It features the incredibly melodic Fred Thelonius Baker on bass & gtr and superb IONA keyboards & gtr meastro Dave Bainbridge. Produced by Nigel Pease and with artwork by Steven Joseph Hemingway, the CD is accompanied by a 16 page booklet. The 12 carefully programmed songs are a crafty blend of jazz & prog with a dash of folk noir.
