Hello, thank you for coming to look around Jazz CDs and at my cds. My most exciting news is the London Jazz Festival appearance at Pizza on the Park in November. It is absolutely fantastic to be asked to appear as part of this event (please see www.londonjazzfestival.org.uk). Of course there was the sell out at Pizza on the Park this Spring, helped along by Steve Lodder who stepped in a very short notice on piano and gave a spirited, exuberant performance. My Jazz Services tour (thank you Jazz Services) saw myself, John Horler, John Donaldson, Tristan Mailliot and lots of different gorgous bass players struggling to get around the country on crammed motorways. We drove to Bridport in second and third gear (no exaggeration!). But it was all worthwhile, the musicians on fine form and myself feeling healthy and happy after many hours in the gym. I've moved out of London and my relaxed days in the country include a four inch spider in my living room, various two to three inch spiders and a field mouse in the kitchen!
