Sue McCreeth is recording new CD and releasing work never heard before.

Sue McCreeth is recording a new CD with the band 'Infinite Sunday'. The CD should be available early in 2011, through Proper Music Distribution Ltd and Jazz CDs. Leading up to the release of this high-production set of originals, co-composed with band members Ian Salmon and Mike Varty, Sue will be releasing for limited periods various solo piano/vocal demo tracks and early unpublished recordings. There will be two piano/vocal videos available for limited periods too. If you miss out on any of these revealing pieces of work, then just write to Sue at info@suemccreeth.com. The tracks/videos/demos will be available on myspace.com/suemccreeth from now through to 2011. At present a dark little ditty called 'After This', which Sue wrote in 1998 is available for listening. Sue has pasted up her International Songwriting Competition winner, 'Sat Nam', written and recorded in 2001, to show her progress as a writer. Sue McCreeth's technique and originality as a writer have captivated audiences and critics alike throughout the years following the release of her album '500 miles high the air is blue'. This is a chance to see and hear her in her most vulnerable and exposed vocal work.

Hello, thank you for coming to look around Jazz CDs and at my cds. My most exciting news is the London Jazz Festival appearance at Pizza on the Park in November. It is absolutely fantastic to be asked to appear as part of this event (please see www.londonjazzfestival.org.uk). Of course there was the sell out at Pizza on the Park this Spring, helped along by Steve Lodder who stepped in a very short notice on piano and gave a spirited, exuberant performance. My Jazz Services tour (thank you Jazz Services) saw myself, John Horler, John Donaldson, Tristan Mailliot and lots of different gorgous bass players struggling to get around the country on crammed motorways. We drove to Bridport in second and third gear (no exaggeration!). But it was all worthwhile, the musicians on fine form and myself feeling healthy and happy after many hours in the gym. I've moved out of London and my relaxed days in the country include a four inch spider in my living room, various two to three inch spiders and a field mouse in the kitchen!
