2008-10-03 00:36:12 | The UK premiere of THE LIGHT OF THE SOUL has been postponed to 2012.
Jack's new book, Volume 2, "THE HARMONY OF BILL EVANS" will be published by HAl Leonard, Jan. 2009.
Jack has begun composing a massive work for symphony orchestra, 200 voice chous, jazz quartet, duo pianos, narrator. and soprano and baritone vocal soloists. The work is titled, "BEING AND TIME" and is based on the writings of Martin Heidegger; To be premiered in 2012 in the UK.
Jack's jazz piano concerto, "ORBITALS" for solo piano and orchestra will be performed at Michagan Tech Uni. early October 2010.
Jack will also perform the RHAPSODY IN BLUE and BEETHOVEN'S Piano concerto # 3 on the same programme.
