Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer Gig

Hi Chaps
Just a quick report on my recent gig at The lovely new stage in the foyer of the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer, now called "The Front Room" and managed by the lovely Ben Spencer.
All went very well, the first set was thoroughly enjoyable and the sound was great.
Second set ok, but the sound girl's boyfriend had arrived by then and she seemed to spend more time snogging than attending to the sound......"Can I have ME back in the monitors please??" etc etc
But it didn't deter me, nor my special guest Trish keelan who plays a mean accordian.
We do a rousing version of "In the Port of Amsterdam" (which you can see on my myspace - www.myspace.com/estherbennett),after which I let her do a tango on her own (on the accordian ofcourse, not dancing....a tango....on her own. Because that would be just silly.)
I did all of the numbers from my cd (now available on jazz cds!!) and more.
