Following the release of the debut album in 2007 "Project 1" on 33 Records the Stroman / Jonsson Project are back in 2008 with a new international sextet containing some of Europe's best jazz players playing orginal material written for a new album intended for release at the end of this year.

As well as US trombonist Scott Stroman and Swedish saxophonist Cennet Jonsson the band includes the Hungarian virtuoso violinist Zoltan Lantos, young US-born and F-I-R-E collective guitarist Justin Quinn, Irish bassist Ronan Guilfolye, and one of the UK's top percussionists Paul Clarvis.

Following a short tour in Europe they are returning to the UK in October to record the new album and play a number of gigs including the Vortex in London on 6th October, the Yardbird in Birmingham on 9th October and the Royal Festival Hall Central bar on 10th October.
