16/11/2006 Jim Mullen | This is a great time for female jazz singers. It seems like every week there's a new name straight out of college. But, in our youth-obsessed culture, it's easy to forget real talent who have been around the block a couple of times.
Cathy Wagstaffe has lived with these songs for years, and brings an experience to her repertoire that can't be taught. Her cool phrasing breathes new life into the great songbook - and I'm proud to be part of her new CD.
