I think I'm in love. Kate Dimbleby has come out from under her Peggy Lee wig and takes centre stage in the cabaret bar and a three-piece suit. It was said about Fred and Ginger "she gave him sex and he gave her class". Well Kate Dimbleby has both already and it is a killer combination.

Talking of which, so is her band. Jonty Fisher on bass, Ben Reynolds on drums and Julian Hinton on keyboards not only play brilliantly, but manage a cheeseboard of backing vocals and a variety of accessories with the kind of sense of humour that can get a boy flung out of the musician's union.
