Messina once again proves himself to be not only a very accomplished drummer and percussionist, but also an imaginative composer and arranger.The mutual compatibility of the trio, completed by Ull Möck and Thomas Rotter, is strongly in evidence and Daniel Messina’s music is performed with taste and great sensitivity. His melodies are most appealing to the ear and really touch the soul and his drumming is precise and controlled.

More than 250 gigs Performances by internationally renowned artists are a traditional part of the fringe programme of the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. Altogether, more than 250 gigs take place on the various stages around the Exhibition Centre. In addition to the SchoolJam bands, virtuoso artists, such as Daniel Messina and chart-breaker Haddaway with his 'The Real Groove Band' will be appearing on the Agora stage in the tent on the open-air area.

The Frankfurt Music Fair, which took place March 31 - April 3, 2004, is one of the world's leading trade shows for professionals in the music industry, and is known for featuring outstanding performances. This year, Hakim Ludin together with Argentinian drummer Daniel Messina performed as a duo. Both artists impressed the audience with their astonishingly high-level technique and unique sound. Naturally, Hakim and Daniel were asked to be performing artists and instructors for the International Drums & Percussion Festival in Warsaw, Poland, taking place from June 27th to July 3rd. Further dates for the duo are planned.
